Solid Golf

Terms of Service

Effective 1 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Solid Golf (ABN 16 377 417 264) ("Solid Golf", "we", "us") for using the Solid Golf app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.

1. Who can use Solid Golf

You must be at least 13 years old to use Solid Golf. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission, and they agree to these terms for you.

2. Your account

You're responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. Please give accurate information when you sign up, and let us know straight away if you think someone else has used your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account.

3. Subscriptions and free trials

Some features of Solid Golf require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold through Apple's App Store and are governed by Apple's terms as well as these.

4. Your golf data

The rounds, shots and statistics you record belong to you. They're stored on your device, so you're responsible for them — if you delete the app, change phones or lose your device, your rounds may not be recoverable. Strokes gained figures, handicap estimates and other statistics are calculated from what you enter and from published reference data; they're estimates to help you understand your game, not an official handicap or professional advice.

5. Feature requests and other content you submit

If you submit a feature request or other content, you keep ownership of it, but you give us a free, worldwide licence to use, display, adapt and act on it to run and improve Solid Golf — including building the feature you suggested, without owing you anything. Content you submit must not be unlawful, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, misleading, or infringe anyone else's rights, and must not include other people's personal information. We may remove any content, and suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Acceptable use

Please don't misuse Solid Golf. That includes trying to access other users' accounts or our systems without permission, interfering with the app or its services, reverse engineering the app except where the law allows, using it to break any law, or getting around subscription limits.

7. Our app and intellectual property

Solid Golf, including its design, software, text and graphics, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by Apple's Usage Rules and these terms.

8. Staying safe on the course

Use Solid Golf when it's safe to. Please don't let the app distract you from other golfers, moving balls, golf carts or your surroundings, and follow your course's rules about using phones.

9. Changes to the app

We're always improving Solid Golf, so features may change, be added or be removed. We'll try to give notice of significant changes. We may suspend or stop the app, but if we stop it permanently we'll tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

10. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, Solid Golf is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, that its statistics will be perfectly accurate, or that using it will improve your score. Some laws, including the Australian Consumer Law, give you guarantees that can't be excluded; nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those rights.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or enjoyment, arising from your use of Solid Golf. Where our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee can be limited, it's limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Solid Golf in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Ending these terms

You can stop using Solid Golf and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if the law requires us to. Sections that by their nature should continue — such as ownership, disclaimers and limitation of liability — continue after these terms end.

13. Apple

These terms are between you and Solid Golf, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you can notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); otherwise Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. Apple isn't responsible for any claims relating to the app — including product liability, failure to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection, privacy, or intellectual property claims — which are our responsibility. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you're not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Where these terms and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement differ about the app licence, these terms apply.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app or the law changes. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Solid Golf after that, you accept the new terms; if you don't agree, you can stop using it and delete your account.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If you're a consumer living elsewhere, you also keep any protections the laws of your country give you.
